A private kindergarten in New York has suspended work after a teacher mistakenly gave the children water laced with bleach. This was reported by People magazine on December 15.

"Unfortunately, an employee mistakenly poured water with a diluted cleaning solution for the children, which is used daily to process toys," the institution's press service said.

The article notes that the incident occurred on October 27. The kindergarten is closed indefinitely.
