The "Family Protection" mode has been launched in the Max messenger
The national messenger MAX has launched the "Family Protection" mode, which allows users to manage the privacy and security settings of their loved ones' accounts — children, elderly relatives and other family members. This was announced on December 15 by the messenger's press service.
"This is a set of settings in the MAX profile that will help protect children, older relatives and other family members from scams, spam and unwanted content. To start the mode, you need to update the application," the message says.
It is noted that the owner of the protection can create it through the "Privacy" section in the profile, generate a six-digit code and send it to those whom he wants to connect. By entering this code within 10 minutes, participants come under the control of the protection creator, who can configure who can write and call the user, as well as filter the content.
As part of the Russian Internet Forum (RIF-2025), a meeting of the public council of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation was held on September 24, where new services in MAX were presented. Among the recent innovations is an electronic diary launched jointly with the Ministry of Digital Development, which allows parents to view their child's grades and schedule inside the app.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
