Famous Russian actors Nikita Kologrivy, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Ruzil Minekaev and Alexey Onezhen became the voices of people with non-verbal autism. They voiced the characters of the series "I didn't get to Hogwarts," who themselves cannot say out loud what they feel and what they think, but who have something to say to the world. The series will premiere on online platforms on April 2, World Autism Awareness Day.

The project "I didn't get into Hogwarts" is Russia's first documentary series about a little—known and almost unheard-of topic of nonverbal autism in society: when a person cannot use speech in the usual way or uses it very limited. Despite this, each of them has a rich inner world, their own thoughts, feelings and desire for self-expression.

Nikita Kologrivy, the star of the Word of a Kid projects, will become the voice of Denis Milyutin. Blood on the asphalt", "Method 3", "At the behest of the pike". David Petrosyan will be voiced by Yuri Kolokolnikov, known for the TV series and films "The White Lotus", "The Master and Margarita", "The Hook". The image of Yan Lisin in the dubbing will be embodied by Ruzil Minekaev, who was loved by the audience for the projects "The Word of a kid. Blood on the asphalt", "Moscow does not believe in tears. Everything is just beginning" and "Overheard in Rybinsk." The voice of Jonah Safonov will be Alexey Onezhen, who played in the projects "Teenagers. First love", "Crybaby", "Fake" and others.

The stories of the characters in the series "I didn't get to Hogwarts" unfold in the format of documentary observation: viewers will see their lives from the inside, learn the stories of their families and will be able to look into the daily lives of the characters. The viewer will discover that the characters' inability to speak hides a vast world and the ability to express themselves, which often go unnoticed. Animation will become a guide to the inner world of the characters — it is through it that the texts and images created by them will be revealed. This is an attempt to bring the viewer closer to the inner world of the guys and make it clear that they are the same as us, only they communicate differently.

"It's incredibly important to us that such strong artists have joined the series. Their voices help the viewer hear things that people with non-verbal autism cannot say out loud. We want to show that these guys are not "different", it's just that their way of communicating is different. When famous actors voice their thoughts, it reinforces the main message of the project: everyone deserves to be heard. And if we give him the opportunity to speak, he will tell us much more than we expect. We will also show how the artists get to know their characters. They talk about how the characters imagine dubbing. This is a kind of initiation moment, important for both sides. And then the viewer will be able to watch how the actors gradually "transform" into their characters at the microphone and become their voice," said Semyon Shomin, the author of the idea and creative producer of the project.
