The section of the road leading to the monument of the Ice Battle was closed for a year

In the Pskov region, a section of the Khotitsy– Piskovichi – Murovitsy road was closed for one year, from the turnoff to the monument of the Ice Battle to the turnoff to Nevsky Street in the village of Khotitsa. The reason is the construction of an overpass.

According to the Pskov news feed with reference to the regional Ministry of Transport, the overpass will be built as part of the construction of the second launch complex of the Northern Bypass of the city.

The agency notes that transport accessibility to the villagers will be provided with the help of an additional bus that will follow the Khotitsy – Piskovichi route. Transfer to the main bus of route 118 is free of charge.

On December 1, it was reported that road works were completed in the Pskov region, which were carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". Despite the difficulties at the beginning of the road construction season and unfavorable weather, all work at the facilities being commissioned in 2025 has been completed. Facilities are being accepted and documents are being processed. There are only objects remaining that will be transferred to subsequent years. We are talking about bridges that have been under repair for more than one year.
