12 districts of the Rostov region were attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on December 15 by the head of the region, Yuri Slyusar, in the Telegram channel.

"Last night, Rostov, Kamensk, Novoshakhtinsk, Kamensky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Sholokhovsky, Tatsinsky, Tarasovsky, Morozovsky and Konstantinovsky districts were subjected to a massive UAV attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties," he said.

According to him, the consequences of the attack were recorded in Rostov, Kamensk, Kamensky and Tarasovsky districts. Two cars caught fire in Rostov. A man who tried to extinguish one of the cars got a hand burn. The fire was extinguished by a fire brigade that arrived at the scene.

"The roof of a private house in the village of Derkul, Tarasovsky district, was also damaged. Fragments of drones fell on private farmsteads in the Nizhnemityakin farmstead of the Tarasovsky district, in the Old Village and Malaya Kamenka of the Kamensky district, in the Kamensk microdistrict, glazing was partially damaged in a number of buildings," Slyusar informed.

The head of the region noted that in the morning the municipal commissions will begin an accurate assessment and recording of the damage.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 71 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the regions of Russia within three hours from 20:00 to 23:00 Moscow time by air defense systems.
