A fire started in a multifunctional five-storey building in Ufa

In Ufa, Emergency Situations Ministry specialists are extinguishing a fire in a multifunctional five-story building, and evacuation is underway. This was reported on December 15 on the website of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan.

"Previously, there are no fatalities or injuries. People are being evacuated. 69 people and 22 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, including 41 people and 11 pieces of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations," the publication says.

The cause of the fire has not been determined at the moment.

Earlier in the day, a large fire destroyed four apartments in the Sakhalin region in the Nogliki district. There is no information about the victims, rescuers continue to assess the consequences of the fire and are taking measures to prevent further spread of the fire.
