In Russia, the average cost of food for the New Year's table will be 10 thousand rubles. This became known on November 14 from the data of the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS) for November.

"The New Year's basket includes products for a hot dish (2 kg of chicken, 500 g of potatoes and garlic), sliced vegetables (600 g of tomatoes and cucumbers, 300 g of greens), snacks (800 g of various pickles, 400 g of cheese, 300 grams of smoked meat, boiled and smoked sausage), sandwiches with caviar and sprats, Olivier salads and Herring under a fur coat for four," RIA Novosti calculated.
