The air temperature in Moscow will range from -6 to -4 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -11.

In the Moscow region it will be from -8 to -3 degrees during the day, at night the temperature may drop to -13 degrees.

A northwesterly wind with a speed of 6-11 m/s is expected.

Earlier, on December 13, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, reported that the snow that fell in Moscow and the Moscow region on Saturday night would not last until the New Year — it would melt during the upcoming thaws.

The first frosts were recorded in the capital on December 10. Negative temperatures were also observed throughout the Moscow region, and Kashira became the coldest point in the region, where the minimum temperature was -2.1 degrees.
