President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has received a personal message from US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania. This was announced on December 13 by the press secretary of the Belarusian president Natalia Eismont in an interview with the First Information TV channel.

"Through the US Special Envoy for Belarus, John Cole, Donald and Melania Trump sent a personal message to our president," she said in a conversation recorded on the broadcaster's Telegram channel.
