Panda Katyusha from the Moscow Zoo was delighted with the snow

On December 13, Svetlana Akulova, General Director of the Moscow Zoo, posted a video on her Telegram channel showing Katyusha the panda enjoying the snowfall in the capital.

"The long-awaited snow. Katyusha is happy," Akulova wrote.

Judging by the video, the panda found a piece of log in its enclosure, which was covered with snow. She used it as a toy, actively rolling in the snow on the territory of the aviary with a log in her mouth.

In August 2023, panda Katyusha was born to Panda Rui and Dingding, who arrived in Moscow in 2019 in honor of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. She will leave for China when she turns four. On August 24, 2024, she celebrated her first birthday at the Moscow Zoo.
