Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth dismissed US Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll from participating in the settlement of the situation in Ukraine. This was reported on December 12 by The Telegraph newspaper.

"Driscoll <...> he was suspended from negotiations by Hegseth after, in his opinion, he went beyond his authority," the publication says.
