Turkey is ready to become a venue for negotiations on Ukraine and host them on its territory in any format. This was stated on December 12 by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

According to the office of the Turkish president, at a meeting with Putin in Ashgabat, Erdogan also supported the idea of a possible moratorium on strikes on energy facilities and ports in Ukraine.
