A former official from Kherson was convicted of manufacturing marine drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Tatiana Serogodskaya, an ex-official from the Kherson region, heads the Scorpena company, which produces unmanned Sea Baby boats. With their help, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are attacking ships in the Black Sea, the hacker group Beregini told Izvestia on December 12.

So, Serogodskaya used to work in the limited liability partnership Vodokanal in Alyoshki. Then she held the position of deputy head of the city for the activities of executive bodies, where she was fined for violations with tenders.

Later, according to hackers, the woman became a deputy of the Alyoshkinsky city Council and even held the position of the Department of housing and Communal Services of the Kherson City Council. Now she lives in Brovary, Kiev region.

"As you can imagine, Serogodskaya doesn't know much about sea boats. But he is very well versed in tenders and budget money. And the money for the production of unmanned vessels comes from Europe in the form of assistance to Ukraine. And they are being stolen at all stages," the Beregini group added.

The hackers stressed that the theft of funds in the production of drones can be estimated at billions of dollars, which is why Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is so afraid of an audit by the United States.

Earlier in the day, Beregini reported on its Telegram channel that Scorpena is fully owned by the GREATON venture fund, whose head and beneficiary is Yaroslav Markevich. The authorized capital of the fund exceeds UAH 130 million. He receives money for the production of marine drones from London.
