The court did not consider the petition for the election of a preventive measure for the producer of "Tender May" Andrei Razin, accused of fraud on an especially large scale. On December 12, a source familiar with the case told Izvestia.

"The court did not consider it. Because there was nothing to consider. The petition was withdrawn," the source said.

Razin tried to appropriate the rights not only to the lyrics of the band's songwriter Sergey Kuznetsov, but also to the work of frontman Yuri Shatunov. The producer of "Tender May" similarly forged documents on the transfer of copyrights on behalf of the singer, but the court considered them null and void.

A day earlier, the investigating authorities filed a petition to the court for the arrest of Razin in absentia. He is suspected of major fraud. Razin's former driver confirmed to the investigation on December 3 that his employer lives in the United States. Razin later left Russia after a criminal case was initiated.

Lawyer Assel Mukhtarova-Kazarnovskaya informed Izvestia on November 24 that Razin had been charged with fraud on an especially large scale. According to the investigation, the producer for a long time used a fake contract with the author of the songs "Tender May" Sergey Kuznetsov and received money as the copyright holder. The poet's widow was recognized as a victim in the case. On the same day, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation put Razin on the wanted list, and the material damage in the criminal case against him amounted to about 500 million rubles.
