The parliament urged not to allow Zelensky to sabotage efforts for peace talks.
Ukraine cannot allow the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to disrupt the peace initiatives that world leaders are working on. This was announced on December 10 by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmytruk in the social network X (former. Twitter).
"Many strong and responsible world leaders are working to end this conflict. We cannot allow such a petty opportunist as Zelensky, driven by personal interests and hiding behind the facade of military operations, to sabotage these efforts," the message says.
Dmytruk also noted that for Ukraine, only peaceful coexistence with Russia can ensure prosperity and stability in the country.
Zelensky said on December 8 that the points that Ukraine considered controversial were excluded from the settlement plan proposed by the United States, leaving 20 points out of 28. He believes that at the moment there is no compromise on the issue of territories.
In turn, US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Politico on December 9, called on Zelensky to pull himself together and start accepting proposals for resolving the conflict, as Ukraine is losing on the battlefield. In turn, the American leader also stressed that Russia has a much stronger negotiating position compared to the Ukrainian side.
At the same time, on December 10, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the US positions on Ukraine's membership in NATO and the issue of territories are consonant with Russia.
