A man died in a fire in a private house in Lesosibirsk.

In the city of Lesosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man died as a result of a fire in a private house. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred the day before, on December 9, on Polyarnaya Street. During the reconnaissance, a member of the gas and smoke protection service found the deceased in the house. The man's body was on a sofa in one of the rooms.

The fire area was 121 square meters. m. 16 people and six pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The preliminary cause of the fire in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is called a violation of fire safety rules when using a furnace, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

The rescue agency, citing weather forecasters, notes that on December 10 in the central and southern regions of the region the air temperature at night is -30...-35 degrees, in places in the central regions -38 ...-43 degrees. Due to the frosty weather, residents are urged to be careful when heating their homes and stop heating 2-3 hours before bedtime.
