The trailer for the New Year's Eve franchise "Christmas Trees 12" has been released

The Bazelevs film company, together with the distributor NMG Kinoprokat (part of the National Media Group holding) and the Toomuch Production film company, present the trailer for the most anticipated New Year's comedy "Christmas Trees 12". The film will be released on December 18, 2025.

Watching films of this cinematic universe has already become a New Year's tradition in many Russian families. The first part of the franchise was released in 2010, and over the years, viewers have seen dozens of touching novels in which everyone can recognize themselves. "Christmas Trees 12" will show the audience that New Year's magic is time spent with dear people, the warmth of a family hearth, faith in kindness and the joy of everyone coming together.

Creative producers and screenwriters are Zhora Kryzhovnikov ("Moscow does not believe in tears. Everything is just beginning", "The boy's word. Blood on the asphalt", "Ice 2") and Peter Vnukov, who was responsible for the creation of the previous part of the franchise — "Christmas Trees 11". The producers were Timur Asadov, Lala Rustamova, Ara Khachatryan, Maria Zatulovskaya and Dmitry Pachulia.

The "Christmas trees" managed to become the same symbol of the New Year for the audience, like Olivier or the chiming clock. Now it is part of the cultural code, without which it is difficult to imagine a holiday. My team and I are trying to keep this warmth and create magic that unites the closest ones," said creative producer and screenwriter Zhora Gooseberry.

The upcoming installment of the franchise, "Christmas Trees 12", will not only tell the stories of familiar characters, but also introduce new characters. For example, Uncle Yura, played by Dmitry Nagiyev, will appear on the screen again. In the twelfth part of the film, viewers will see him together with his school sweetheart, played by Irina Medvedeva, an actress who joined the franchise for the first time. For the first time, Dmitry Zhuravlev, a popular comedian, actor and host of one of the most watched and vibrant shows "Natal Map", as well as a blogger with an audience of millions, singer and actress Masha (Maria Kamova), took part in the filming.

"It seems to me that in general, the product of the Christmas Tree suggests that people around this holiday unite, spend time together and remember the good and bright things that bring us closer. Watching the film has become a warm New Year's tradition for many families, because films remind us that real magic is in human relationships," said actor Dmitry Zhuravlev.
