Two sites of the patriotic forum have been opened in the Rostov region
The sites of the All-Russian Patriotic Forum have been opened in two municipalities of the Rostov region. Events for young people were held in the village of Vyoshenskaya in the Sholokhovsky district and Rostov-on-Don.
The regional venues of the forum show how actively and consciously the youth of the Rostov region are involved in the work of preserving historical memory and developing civic responsibility, said Oleg Otrokov, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy of the Rostov Region. "Here, children get the opportunity to communicate directly with mentors, heroes and experts, see living examples of service to the country and adopt best practices," he stressed.
On December 8, a screening and discussion of the film "Sholokhov. Letters to the future." The visitors were given a guided tour of the literary museum and organized a meeting with Alexey Kolmykov, a member of the SVO.
In Rostov-on-Don, the events took place on December 9 at the Sholokhov Center of the Museum-Reserve. The participants took a tour of the Martin Brothers' House, met with SVO participants Ivan Urzun and Alexander Voroshilov, and learned about patriotic events in the region from specialists of the Rostovpatriotcenter State Educational Institution.
The All-Russian Patriotic Forum is being held as part of the summing up of the Year of Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory. For the first time in its history, the forum went beyond Moscow, with regional venues opening across the country on November 24. More than 2,000 people are participating in the events on the basis of 19 federal historical and military history museums. The organizer is the Rospatriotcenter of Rosmolodezh with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Defense, as well as the executive authorities of the regions.
