Gosuslugi will begin to inform drivers about the absence of CTP
The Ministry of Finance, together with the National Insurance Information System (NSIS), is preparing to launch informing drivers about the absence of a CTP policy. Vladislav Zazykin, a representative of the Gosuslugi Avto project, announced this in the Public Chamber, the NSIS Telegram channel reported on December 8.
"We are currently working on the possibility of an informational newsletter for users, which will indicate that the policy has not been uploaded. At least through a mobile application, a personal account, this will be some kind of incentive for the user to either download the policy or think about buying it," Zazykin said.
Currently, the Gosuslugi Avto application allows you to open a driver's license and STS in electronic form, register an accident according to the European protocol, apply for CTP compensation and receive notifications of fines. In 2025, online presentation is working in a pilot mode - the traffic inspector has the right to ask for a paper version of the documents.
Earlier, on December 2, it was reported that the number of car owners who have the maximum discount for accident-free driving under CTP (for the period from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025) increased in all regions of the country, while the indicator increased by 5 percentage points across the Russian Federation to 39.6%. Thus, more than a third of the country's drivers have not caused an accident in the last 10 years.
