- An AI expert spoke about the work of the neural network in collecting questions to Putin's direct line
Artificial intelligence (AI) contributes to the collection and processing of citizens' appeals for the direct line of the "Results of the Year" program with Russian President Vladimir Putin. GigaChat's tasks include determining the gender of participants, their age and the subject of the appeal with its essence. This was reported to Izvestia on December 8 by Diana Zlobina, an AI expert.
"This year, GigaChat is helping to process the requests that I receive in the program "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" through all channels. These are calls, text messages, and other communication channels," she told the Popular Front call center in preparation for the program.
According to the expert, more than 414,000 applications have already been received from citizens since the applications were collected, including about 66% of women and 34% of men.
Thus, social policy is in the first place in terms of the number of requests. Further categories include the state and society, economy, infrastructure, the topic of a special military operation (SVO), as well as healthcare. At the same time, each topic contains the subtopics that Russians are most interested in. For example, the subsections of social policy include pensions and social guarantees, family and children, assistance to the disabled, and obtaining social status for benefits.
In addition, the call center, in preparation for the "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" program, also accepts questions for a direct line with the Russian leader, where environmental and social issues became the leading topics. Nikolai Serov, a veteran of the SVO, shared that due to his participation in the special operation, he interacts more easily with citizens and participants of the SVO to clarify details when communicating.
On December 5, it was reported that Russians began sending questions to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the Results of the Year program, most of them related to the social sphere and housing and communal services. It was noted that more than 90 volunteers from 40 regions of the country are involved in the work of the call center, as well as a neural network that will analyze incoming requests.
The Kremlin's press service announced on December 4 that a combined direct line and a press conference by the President of Russia would be held on December 19 at 12:00 Moscow time.
