Moscow and Beijing conducted the third joint missile defense exercises. This was announced on December 6 by the press service of the Chinese Ministry of Defense.

"The Chinese and Russian militaries conducted the third joint anti—missile exercises," the statement said.

It is specified that the event took place on the territory of Russia. The Chinese Defense Ministry added that the exercises are purely defensive in nature and do not affect the interests of third countries or the current geopolitical situation.
