Specialists of the courier postal service (FPS) of the Vostok group of forces delivered another batch of mail to military personnel performing combat missions in the special military operation zone. This was announced on December 8 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The ministry noted that during the week, the FPS node delivers more than 10 thousand copies of periodicals and about 500 personal parcels of military personnel to the formations of the 36th Guards Combined Arms Army. An automated information system is used to process personal parcels of military personnel: at the workplace of specialists there is a tablet with special software and a barcode scanner.

It is specified that military personnel travel hundreds of kilometers of shelled front-line roads every day, delivering mail to the participants of the special operation, who are both in the rear areas of the special operation and on the front line. According to the department, military personnel enjoy reading the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda, which publishes articles about their colleagues from the unit and talks about their exploits.

"In order for friends and family to send a parcel to the CIO area, it is necessary to arrive with the parcel at any Russian Post office, the operator must specify the number of the military unit to which the parcel is being sent, as well as the index. <...> And then the parcel is guaranteed to reach the serviceman through the courier mail network," he said. the head of the FPS node with the call sign Bryansk.
