Roskachestvo reported an increase in the share of Russian sparkling wine in the market to 72%

The share of domestic sparkling wine in the Russian market has grown significantly, increasing from 67% last year to 72% this year, this growth was made possible by increased production and substitution of imported products. This was announced on December 7 in Roskachestvo.

The organization added that in the period from January to October 2025, 146 million liters of Russian sparkling wine were produced, which is 8.6% more than in the same period last year. Roskachestvo also noted that 60 new sparkling wine and champagne items appeared in Russian retail in 2025.

"Experts note not only the appearance of new brands of sparkling wines, but also the expansion of the range of different types of containers — large bottles of 1.5 liters, small volumes of 0.2–0.375 liters, including in tin cans," RIA Novosti quoted Roskachestvo as saying.

Experts do not expect a spike in sparkling wine prices until the New Year.
