The United States intends to conduct nuclear tests on an equal footing with other States. This was announced on December 6 by Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth.

"As the President [of the United States Donald] has already said Trump, we are modernizing our nuclear triad. <...> We will test nuclear weapons and nuclear charge delivery systems on an equal footing with others," he said during a speech at the Ronald Reagan National Defense Forum.

According to him, Trump intends to preserve and accelerate the development of the American army. He also noted that the US president will take military measures to protect the state when he deems it necessary.

On November 12, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the resumption of nuclear testing. According to him, they will include delivery vehicles. He added that it is necessary to ensure that these systems work and are safe. The Secretary of State also stressed the concern of the United States about the rapid build-up of China's nuclear potential.

On October 29, the American leader instructed the Ministry of War to begin testing nuclear weapons on an equal basis.
