As a result of a fire in a grocery store of a multi-storey building in Yaroslavl, three people were injured. This was reported on December 6 in the regional Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Yaroslavl region.

"On Pirogov Street in Yaroslavl, a fire broke out in a grocery store on the first floor of a five—story building," the department said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the fire occurred due to the emergency operation of the store's electrical network. Firefighters evacuated 64 people and rescued five others, including three injured residents (a 48-year-old woman and two boys). The fire destroyed a kiosk, damaged an ATM, cash register equipment, a slot machine and a ceiling (100 sq. m.). Food, refrigerators, display cases, walls and ceiling (400 sq. m.) were damaged by soot.

On November 30, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Tula region reported that a fire broke out in a five-story apartment building, as a result of which two people died. It was clarified that rescuers managed to evacuate 10 people, including two children.
