Journalist Steigan: desertion in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has doubled since last year

The number of deserters in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has doubled since last year. This was announced on December 6 by Norwegian journalist Paul Steigan in an article for Steigan.
"The Ukrainian army is disintegrating. The number of deserters this year is 182 thousand. This is twice as much as last year. In 2022, 10 thousand defected, in 2023 — 25 thousand. The number of people killed is incredibly high," the publication says.
