The Russian government has terminated military agreements with Canada, France and Portugal. The corresponding decree, signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, was published on December 5 on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
"In accordance with Article 37 of the Federal Law on International Treaties of the Russian Federation, terminate the Agreement between the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Government of Canada," the order says.
