In Krasnoyarsk, a woman who was crossing the tracks wearing headphones died as a result of a train collision. This is reported by the Eastern Interregional SU for Transport of the Russian Investigative Committee.
The hit-and-run occurred on Friday, December 5, at the Studencheskaya station in the Sverdlovsk region of the city. It was previously established that the pedestrian was crossing the railway tracks wearing headphones and a hood, which prevented her from noticing the approaching train.
As a result of the collision, the woman received various injuries, from which she died in the ambulance. The investigators began checking under Part 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport, which negligently caused the death of a person."
Based on the results of the inspection, a decision will be made to institute a criminal case. The circumstances of the man's death are being established, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.
