- The Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to respond to the production of fuel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Denmark
Russia will take adequate measures in response to threats to national security in connection with Denmark's preparations to launch production of rocket fuel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on December 4 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"The Russian side will continue to firmly and rigidly defend its laws and interests and will take adequate military-technical measures to stop emerging threats to national security," she said.
Zakharov noted that Denmark was the first of the sponsoring countries of the Kiev regime to provide its territory for the creation of weapons components. According to the diplomat, this adventure confirms the hostile militaristic course of Copenhagen, which is sabotaging efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis peacefully.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that work on the launch of the specified production is being carried out with feverish haste, bypassing the basic requirements of industrial, fire and environmental safety. She also stated that the Danish authorities demonstrate complete disregard for the interests of their own population and seek to ensure further enrichment by continuing the bloodshed in Ukraine.
On December 2, the Politico newspaper reported that NATO countries may abandon regular aid packages to Ukraine in the amount of $ 500 million. The publication writes that the Ukrainian side highly appreciated the PURL program, but NATO allies, seeking to strengthen Kiev's negotiating position during the ongoing peace talks and continue supplying critical weapons, are discussing ways to increase the sustainability of this program.
On December 1, Bloomberg reported that Ukraine had asked its European allies to allocate an additional €1 billion for the purchase of American weapons by the end of the year. As the newspaper notes, many European allies are in no hurry to take on new financial obligations after the termination of American aid under the administration of US President Donald Trump.
