The Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into the incident involving a Red Wings airline plane that made an emergency landing at Domodedovo Airport after taking off from the same airport to Phuket. This was reported on December 4 in the press service of the department.

"The prosecutor's office is monitoring the situation in connection with the emergency landing of a Red Wings airline plane in Domodedovo," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that if violations are detected, the agency will take response measures.

Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, said that the Boeing 777 landed at Domodedovo Airport due to engine problems. There were 415 passengers and 13 crew members on board. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. According to the Izvestia source, the cause of the incident was an engine fire. Later, the press service of aerogavani reported that the airport continued to operate normally.
