The pilots acted competently in the situation with the emergency landing of the Boeing 777 in Domodedovo

The crew of the Moscow–Phuket passenger plane, which was forced to make an emergency landing due to engine problems, responded to the situation in a timely and competent manner. This was announced on December 3 by the aviation services.

"The crew, as far as can be preliminarily judged, reacted competently to the situation according to the RLE (Aircraft Flight Operation Manual)," the source told TASS.

It is specified that the REL includes the following actions: initiation of a fire extinguishing system, a report to dispatchers, and fuel generation.

Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, said that the Boeing 777 landed at Domodedovo Airport due to engine problems. There were 415 passengers and 13 crew members on board. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. According to the Izvestia source, the cause of the incident was an engine fire. Later, the press service of aerogavani reported that the airport continued to operate normally.
