Toyota has registered the trademark Land Cruiser Prado in the Russian Federation

Toyota, which ceased business in Russia in 2022, has registered a trademark with the name of the Land Cruiser Prado SUV with Rospatent. Information on the state registration of a trademark has been published in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS), an audit of Izvestia has shown.

The copyright holder is Toyota Jidosha Kabusiki Kaisha (also trading as Toyota Motor Corporation). The trademark was registered on December 2, and the right expires on March 31, 2035.

The trademark is registered according to the 12th class of the International Technical Regulations (International Classification of Goods and Services), which includes cars, SUVs, four-wheel drive vehicles and components.

According to TASS, since 2022, Toyota has submitted 86 applications for trademark registration to Rospatent.
