The use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will contribute an additional 110 billion euros to the Russian economy by 2030. This was announced on December 3 by Alexey Likhachev, head of Rosatom State Corporation, at the first International Symposium on AI and Nuclear Energy at the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

According to Likhachev, a full technological cycle is currently being created in Russia, which includes the production of energy and computing infrastructure. Along with this, the creation of algorithms and obtaining results is noted.

"All this will contribute to achieving the strategic goal of contributing an additional €110 billion to our country's economy through AI by 2030," TASS quoted him as saying.

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the exhibition "Journey into the world of Artificial Intelligence", where the President of the Russian Federation was accompanied by the head of Sberbank, German Gref. It was noted that an AI-controlled robot also came out to greet Putin. The President positively assessed the presented development.

Putin also noted that the use of artificial intelligence products provides significant advantages in improving labor efficiency. The Head of State called for the development of these technologies.
