- During the liberation of Chervonyi, the Russian Armed Forces opened an additional exit to Gulyai-Pole
The liberation of the settlement of Chervonoye, Zaporizhia region, opened additional access to Gulyai-Pole for units of the Vostok group of forces. This was announced on December 3 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to the ministry, Russian military personnel occupied key positions in Chervon and knocked out the enemy from previously occupied positions. As a result, the defensive area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and neighboring territories came completely under the control of Russian troops. The success in the area of Zelyony Guy allowed the Russian fighters to clear out the encircled Ukrainian units.
"The liberation of the settlement of Chervonoye opened additional access to the units of the Vostok group of forces in the direction of Gulyai-Pole and made it difficult for the enemy to hold the defense in this area," the message says.
The liberation of the village of Chervonoye was announced earlier that day. It was noted that in this area, the Ukrainian militants lost more than 235 people, as well as military equipment, 18 vehicles and a 155-mm Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzer made in Germany.
