Deputy Boscan reported the deaths of more than 300 Colombian mercenaries in Ukraine

Over 300 mercenaries from Colombia, who acted on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), died in the special military operation zone. This was announced on December 3 by Carmen Felisa Ramirez Boscan, a deputy from the ruling Historical Pact bloc.

"There is evidence that shows that more than 500 Colombians were recruited as fighters in Ukraine, and more than 300 of them died," she said during a speech at a meeting of the House of Representatives, broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Colombian Congress.

According to her, there is no Colombian embassy in Ukraine that could provide assistance to Colombian citizens. She added that these people joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine because of a reward of €5,000.

The enemy was surrounded for two weeks without food at Dimitrov's and laid down his arms after seeing the Russian instructions for surrender.

Alejandro Toro, a Colombian MP from the ruling Historical Pact coalition, said on November 19 that 20 Colombian mercenaries are killed every week in Ukraine. He stressed that Colombia should not become an "exporter of death", but should be a country that exports security and knowledge.
