The Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) has initiated enforcement proceedings against the Samara football club (FC) Krylia Sovetov to recover almost a million dollars in debt. This was reported on December 2 by RIA Novosti with reference to information from the Database of Enforcement Proceedings.

According to the agency, the court proceedings were opened the day before, on December 1. It is based on the writ of execution of the Moscow Arbitration Court dated November 6. The amount of debt to be recovered from the football club exceeds 928 million rubles, clarifiesГазета.Ru ".

The newspaper Sport-Express recalls that the Moscow Arbitration Court, following the claim of RT-Capital, decided to recover more than 923 million rubles from Krylia Sovetov. Then the team offered to conclude a settlement agreement and repay the debt by the end of 2026, but the plaintiff did not agree to these terms and demanded payment this year.

The publication also notes that Krylia Sovetov borrowed this money 14 years ago, in 2011. The court demanded to collect the debt, as since 2016 the club has not been servicing the debt and has not fulfilled its obligations.

On November 26, 2024, the governor of the Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, announced at the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission on sports development that he had learned about the debt of the Krylia Sovetov football club in the amount of 36 million rubles to "criminals who are engaged in corruption in the refereeing corps of Russian football." According to him, such a system has been in operation for several years. The governor proposed to refuse to finance it at the expense of taxpayers.

After that, Fedorishchev handed over the facts of the corruption schemes to the police. At the same time, he expressed disappointment that the clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL) had asked for confirmation, and stressed that he was in favor of "clean sport." Later, on December 4, the Russian Interior Ministry announced the start of the inspection after Fedorishchev's words.
