The State Duma deputy spoke about the artists who left the Russian Federation

On December 2, Denis Maidanov, a deputy of the State Duma, Honored Artist of Russia, shared his opinion about cultural figures who left the country.

According to him, it is important that the artists who left sincerely repent, and not try to return for financial benefits. Maydanov stressed that many cultural figures "made cardinal mistakes" by succumbing to emotions.

"Someone said something stupid in adulthood that cost him his career. Because he didn't give a damn about his audience, his country. And in return, I got what I got," he said in an interview with the newspaper "Paragraph".
