79 monuments were destroyed or damaged in the Kursk border area during the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the border area of the Kursk region, 79 monuments and seven temples were destroyed or damaged due to the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on December 2 by Alexander Khinstein, Governor of the Kursk Region, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"We are forming a "White Book" of cultural heritage sites affected by the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now it has 79 monuments and seven temples. We are preparing for the museification of events and places. I repeat, all the heroes, of course, will be immortalized," said the head of the region.
