It became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 23 thousand militants killed or wounded in Volchansk.

Russian military personnel defeated more than 23,000 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the liberation of the village of Volchansk in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on December 2 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

It is specified that at least 8 thousand militants were eliminated.

"In just 18 months of fighting, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 46% of their group's personnel. Daily losses amounted to more than 40 people, on average, killed and wounded," TASS quoted the security forces as saying.

It is specified that in this settlement, the Ukrainian militants deployed 33 battalions, which had 90 tanks and 320 armored vehicles at their disposal. The law enforcement agencies noted that there were more than 50,000 militants in total in Volchansk.
