Jetour and Changan cars have been assembled in Russia
Russian car factories have started assembling cars of the Chinese brands Jetour, Changan and Soueast. This is stated in the presentation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on the status of domestic production sites (available to Izvestia). Previously, it was not officially reported that these models were put on the assembly line of domestic enterprises.

So, according to the information of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant is engaged in the production of three models of the Jetour brand — the compact crossover Dashing, as well as the mid-size X70 Plus and the all-wheel drive T2.
It also turned out that Avtotor is engaged in the production of the Soueast S09 crossover (the largest of the three brand models) and the Changan Uni-S mid-size SUV.
In addition to these models, the Kaliningrad plant's production line includes the Amberauto A5, SWM G01/G01F and G05 Pro, and four BAIC models (U5 Plus, X35, X55 and BJ40).
Earlier, on October 15, it was reported that in Russia in 2026, the Avtotor plant in the Kaliningrad region is going to launch the production of BAIC brand cars in a full cycle with welding and body painting, which will achieve the required level for participation in federal programs.
