Sakhalin residents were warned about a snow storm

A snow storm is expected in the Sakhalin Region in the coming days. The wind speed can reach 27 m/s.

According to forecasts, bad weather will hit the Okhinsky and Noglika districts in the morning and afternoon of December 2. Heavy snow is expected with reduced visibility to 500 m or less. According to SakhalinMedia news agency, the wind speed during the day will be 12-17 m/s, gusts up to 22-27 m/s are expected at times.

On the evening of December 1 and the night of December 2, a snowstorm is also expected in the center and south of Sakhalin.

Earlier in the day, forecasters predicted frosty weather in Primorsky Krai. The air temperature will drop to -33 degrees in some places.
