Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the launch of New Year's Eve charity events in the capital.

These events, in particular, include the Moscow Helps project with the Gift Factory pavilions. You can bring gift sets and necessary items for participants in a special military operation, children from new regions and animal shelters, the mayor said. "Volunteers will tell you what is best to give and help you sign postcards," Sobyanin wrote on his channel in the IACH, specifying that the pavilions are located on city festival grounds.

More than 4,2 thousand wishes have already been fulfilled during the "Good Christmas Tree" campaign. This year's event will be held for the fourth time. "The campaign annually helps to realize the dreams of the wards of non-profit organizations who find themselves in a difficult life situation," the mayor said.

Another project, Grant a Wish, is carried out in the interests of the wards of charitable foundations, social centers and educational institutions, as well as children undergoing treatment in Moscow clinics. "The guys write letters to Santa Claus, they are posted on the campaign website. Anyone can fulfill a childhood dream," Sobyanin said.

The winter charity festival "City of the Caring" will be held in Moscow on the first weekend of December. As Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina reported earlier, a fair with goods from non-profit organizations (NGOs) will be located on Bolotnaya Square, creative workshops, ice shows and interactive events will be held.

Visitors will be able to "get acquainted with the programs of Moscow NGOs and make gifts to their loved ones with their own hands," Sergunina noted. According to her, in previous seasons the project attracted more than 90 thousand people. The charity fair will feature knitted toys, clothes, dishes, soap and souvenirs created by the wards of Moscow NGOs.
