There is no reason to completely deny the possibility of a microlife on the moon. This was announced on November 29 by Hero of Russia, cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin.

"Plus or minus 150, radiation, lack of air, but they are there and exist. And finding microorganisms deep underground, in completely different conditions, also shows that life is quite complicated," RIA Novosti quoted the cosmonaut as saying.

He explained that experiments were conducted on the International Space Station (ISS), in which samples were taken from the outer surface of the station, and the results showed the presence of small colonies of microorganisms capable of surviving in extreme conditions.
