New holidays will be celebrated in the Khabarovsk Territory

In the Khabarovsk Territory, the Legislative Duma adopted the regional law "On holidays and memorable dates." The dates were systematized in a single regional law.

According to IA AmurMedia, with reference to the press service of the Duma, the Charter of the region establishes the Day of Education of the region, the laws of the region — the Day of Combat Veterans, the Day of the gardener and Gardener, the Day of Health and Sports, regulatory legal acts of the governor and the regional government — the Day of Education and the Trade union movement, the Day of Formation of the Khabarovsk Police Department — the Day of the Khabarovsk Police.

New memorable dates have also appeared: May 3, 2012 — the Day Khabarovsk was awarded the honorary title of the Russian Federation "City of Military Glory" and May 20 — the Day Komsomolsk-on-Amur was awarded the honorary title of the Russian Federation "City of Labor Valor".

A new holiday will be celebrated in the region — the Day of a large family. It will be celebrated on the second Sunday of June. The goal is to strengthen the institution of the family, preserve traditional values and promote large families.

Earlier it was reported that in December 2025, the terms of payment of wages are regulated by Article 136 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. If the established payment day coincides with the New Year holidays, the salary must be transferred no later than December 30, the last working day before the holidays. This date is mandatory for all employers, regardless of the payment system and shift schedules.
