In Volgograd, the Ministry of Emergency Situations destroyed an aerial bomb weighing more than a ton. This was announced on November 27 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the MAX messenger.

"The pyrotechnic crew of the Don Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry took the bomb to a safe distance from the city and defused it by detonating it in compliance with all security measures," the report said.

It is noted that the aerial bomb was discovered during excavation work on one of the construction sites, which required immediate action.

On August 24, pyrotechnics of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated two high-explosive aerial bombs from the Great Patriotic War, discovered in the Volgograd region. The find was seized by employees of the Don Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and transported to a special landfill, where it was removed in compliance with all necessary safety measures.
