The capital of Guinea-Bissau is completely at the mercy of the military, and the work of institutions, banks, markets, and shops has been suspended. This was announced on November 27 by the Russian Embassy in the country.

"Individual highways in the city center are blocked along their entire length, including by rapid response police units. Checkpoints have been set up at the exits from the city and on the way to the airport," the diplomatic mission told TASS.

It is noted that there is no threat to the functioning of the embassy, it maintains constant contact with compatriots and Russian companies.
