The murderer of General Yaroslav Moskalik was sentenced to life in prison.
The Second Western District Military Court found Ignat Kuzin, recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), guilty of murdering Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, and sentenced him to life imprisonment. This was reported on November 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia.
"To finally impose a sentence of life imprisonment on Kuzin, with serving the first 10 years in prison, the rest in a special regime colony, with a fine of 2 million rubles," the judge announced the verdict.
Speaking with the last word, Kuzin repented of his actions. He stated that he allegedly did not plan to detonate a bomb, and asked for forgiveness from the family of the deceased Lieutenant General.
