Russians began to practice acrobatics and gymnastics more often in the run-up to winter, and the demand for various indoor sports increased by 13%. This is evidenced by the results of the Avito Services study, which was reviewed by Izvestia on November 27.

According to the survey, in the period from October to November, the number of people willing to practice acrobatics increased by 50%, and the demand for gymnastics increased by 40% compared to the same period last year.

Russians are increasingly interested in playing sports — with the approach of cold weather, training sessions and matches have moved to closed halls. Interest in hockey increased by 34%, in table tennis — by 21%, in football — by 13%, and in basketball — by 10%.

The demand for martial arts has also increased — the number of Russians choosing such an activity has increased by 28% compared to last year. There were more people attending athletics training by 25%, and swimming by 14%.

Interest in dance styles increased by 14%. In addition, Russians pay attention to intellectual sports: chess coaches were sought 13% more often in the fall.

Avito Services reported to Izvestia on June 20 that interest in yoga classes in Russia has increased by 45% this year. Representatives of the service clarified that Omsk began to engage in this practice the most, as demand increased 2.5 times there. In addition, yoga was more often practiced in Kazan (+100%) and Krasnodar (+90%).
