The program of the first Russian-Emirati Business Forum has been defined
Leading companies from Russia and the UAE, investment funds, technology startups and logistics operators will discuss strategic partnership at the Russian-Emirati Business Forum.
The program and the list of participants of the first Russian-Emirati Business Forum, which will be held on December 10 in Dubai, has been published. The event will become a central event on the business agenda of Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is scheduled as an annual event. The Forum is organized by the Russian-Emirati Business Council (REDS) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation and the Marathon Investment Group.
The forum will be held as part of the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Emirati Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, which will also be held on December 10 in Dubai.
The bilateral cooperation between Russia and the UAE demonstrates a steady positive trend. In recent years, trade has grown significantly, and the range of joint projects in industry, transport, logistics, agriculture, digital technologies, medicine, and investments has expanded. Cooperation is developing both in traditional areas and in innovative areas that require new cooperation mechanisms.
"Russia and the UAE are building a stable foundation for long-term cooperation, reflecting the interests of both countries in the emerging system of international economic relations. We are witnessing an increase in trade and economic indicators, an expansion of investment activity, and the implementation of new projects in non-resource sectors of the economy. The dialogue with the UAE is an important element of Russia's broader cooperation with the countries of the Global South, where new centers of economic growth are being formed. Holding a business forum in Dubai will strengthen the practical component of bilateral cooperation and create conditions for launching new initiatives," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, noted: "In recent years, the UAE has become one of Russia's key economic partners in the Middle East. The first Russian-Emirati Business Forum confirms the priority of this area. As part of the work of the Russian-Emirati Business Council, we see significant potential for the growth of mutual investments and the launch of joint projects. The focus is on technological cooperation, but the opportunities for bilateral work cover the entire range of industries, from logistics and trade to support for IT startups."
The forum will bring together leading companies from Russia and the UAE, investment funds, technology startups and logistics operators to discuss strategic partnerships.
The key event of the forum will be the plenary session "Architecture of long-term Growth: new Horizons of cooperation between Russia and the UAE", at which Alexander Vinokurov, Chairman of the Russian-Emirati Business Council, will present the strategy and tools of the REDC for realizing the economic and business potential of Russia and the UAE. Prospects for bilateral economic cooperation and practical mechanisms for the development of projects will be the central topics of the session.
Among the participants of the plenary session: Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Abdullah bin Tuk Al-Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates, Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Badr Al-Olama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and Alexander Zharov, CEO of Gazprom Media Holding.
The panel discussions will be opened by the session "The Russian-Emirati Innovation Track: a New Era of Technological Cooperation" with the participation of Andrey Shket, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation, Dmitry Markov, CEO of VisionLabs, Paul Davalibi, CEO of Innovation City, and Vyacheslav Kubaev, CEO of Magnit Tech. The session will launch the first acceleration program that forms an ecosystem of growth for Russian technology companies and startups in the UAE.
Special attention will be paid to the development of investment cooperation: a specialized Investment Majlis session will be organized for strategic investors and specialized funds: "Strategic Dialogue on joint Investment", designed to ensure a substantive dialogue and introduce new project support tools. It will focus on projects and mechanisms for creating a Russian-Emirati investment platform.
The business program will conclude with a panel discussion "Russia and the UAE: Shaping the ecosystem of trade and logistics of the future" with the participation of RAKEZ CEO Rami Jallad and Grand Trade CEO Vladislav Bakhtenko. The speakers will discuss the development of export corridors, the diversification of commodity flows and the creation of sustainable multimodal logistics solutions.
