Japarov noted the successful implementation of the CSTO activities planned for 2025
The activities of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) planned for 2025 have been completed successfully. This was announced on November 27 by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
"In general, it can be noted that the organization's planned activities for 2025 have been completed successfully," said Japarov.
He noted that over the past year, work has been actively carried out to strengthen the international authority of the CSTO and stressed that a number of measures have been organized in the field of military, economic and technological cooperation, as well as a number of major events, including special military exercises.
"These and other events have successfully ensured the coordination of the actions of the units of the armed forces of the member states and increased their readiness to fulfill their tasks," concluded the President of Kyrgyzstan.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the CSTO a reliable guarantor of security and stability in the Eurasian space. The Russian leader stressed that Russia will continue to work closely with its allies to strengthen the CSTO's defense potential. Putin also said that the next CSTO summit will be held in Moscow on November 11, 2026.
